Civil engineering work carried out by the practice, includes the design of marine works, involving, sheet piling, breakwaters, quay design and the design of pavements; drainage works, including flood prevention, the design of culverts, balancing ponds, river control works, flumes, weirs and control gates; storm and foul sewers; airfield work including the design of runways, taxiways and aprons together with the design for both new and upgraded pavements.

For civil engineering works, a complete service is offered, from initial feasibility studies, applications for planning and marine consents, detailed design, drawing up of specifications, bills of quantities and contract documents, obtaining tenders, supervision of the work on site and the agreeing of accounts. We also act as Planning Safety Advisor for schemes under our control.
